Saturday Night.....soccer fever/freezing/dinner!!

Saturday i worked till 6pm and then i got changed and caught a train from Bondi to the city......it was FREEZING......LIKE REALLY REALLY COLD!!!!!!

felt like the coldest night we have had in a while....so most of the photos of me are frozen smiles and glassy eyes :)

the city was packed with people, especially in Darling Harbour where we were because of the Soccer World Cup....they had set up a massive area with a screen...they are playing all the soccer games there and people can basically set themselves up there and watch all the games in a great, cold atmosphere!!

so there were literally people everywhere.....

we were in the city for a birthday dinner...Emmanuel's cousin Nick has a fiance named Connie, and it was her 28th birthday....so we all met up at Adria bar and grill for a yummy dinner....its a nice place cause its an oudoors restaurant but they have those big heaters everywhere and you can see all of Darling Harbour!!

My other Job-SPORTSGIRL

I dont think i have really said much about my other job (Sportsgirl) so i thought i should put some pictures up!

I have been working there for about 1.5 years now....i started there about 4 months after i moved to Sydney.....I only work there on a friday now as my makeup job takes up a lot of days now....but when i started working with Estee Lauder i wasnt quite ready to leave S.girl as i have made some beautiful friends there and get on very well with my managers so they wanted to keep me too.....

so i will keep it as long as i can until i get too many hours at Estee!

one of my good friends Kyda was studying nursing whilst working at S.girl but she now has a positon at a hospital working on the kids ward, so we said farewell to her last friday :(  im going to miss her so much!!!

so because no customers were around and we had closed up the shop, i was able to take a couple of pictures!

I do love working there, i love the environment and obviously the girls i work with, and i get a discount on the clothes :)  that always helps.........

so here are some photos of my "other" job :)

ORANGE LIPSTICK :) YES, I SAID ORANGE!!

YES ITS ORANGE LIPSTICK!!!

sounds scary i know.....and its something i would NEVER have worn before, but i believe you can make it work, and not only make it work but make it look really nice and pretty...or dramatic!!

i do believe it looks great on blue eyed people like me because on the colour wheel blue and orange are opposite each other which means they make a great contrast....orange makes blue really stand out!!!

same if you have a little of orange eyeshadow on....the blue in your eye will POP

the key to wearing bold colours like orange lipstick is to keep the eyes simple and pretty, nothing dramatic or you will start to look like a tranny :) hehehe

so this is the colour im testing.....its  MAC lipstick called "Morange".....gorgeous true orange colour!

see how if i keep the rest of my face flawless and clean looking and just keep the lips the main focus its not so scary! and see how my blues eyes stand out more!! the colour wheel is the key.....i love that wheel :)

as i have deep set eyes you cant really see my eyeshadow much anyway.....

now you can start to see my eyeshadow....its simple and soft!

a soft creamy/white gold colour on the inner eye with a soft orange colour on the outer part of my eye as a contour....soft brown liner (not black...keeping it non-dramatic) and some mascara and then filled in my eyebrows!

on my face i have foundation and then some soft blush on my cheekbones and a little bit of highlighter on top of my cheekbones to add a little glow to my face.

see....not so scary after all :)

i would wear this out with pride and not be frightened that i look like a scary person!!!

so go by yourself a nice orange lipstick and wear it with pride!!!

Why i love my job!!

I am like an excited little girl :)

I just completed 3 days of training with Estee Lauder.

it was our initial training on the products, heritage etc etc....i really enjoyed myself and had a great time!

Each day i would get up at about 6:30 and get ready, catch the train to the city and then catch another train on the airport line to Greensquare....then walk about 10-15mins to the training centre in Rosebery!

it was 3 really great days and i learnt so much about the products and was really inspired!!! Plus i got lots of free products!!!!!

I was so excited cause i also got to visit the staff shop where a lot of the products are 60% cheaper than retail price...and its not just Estee Lauder products but also any brand that Estee owns....like Bobby brown, Mac, Clinique, La Mer etc etc....there are lots!!!! so i also got a couple bargains from there....and i can visit whenever i want :)


Look how lucky i was and what i was given!!!!

the bottle on the left is Advanced Night Repair (its the most amazing serum, it can even heal scars, they used to use it in hospitals to heal skin.......i use it day and night and over night while your skin is in a state of rest it repairs it, and during the day while skin is active, it protects it!!!! i love it and have noticed a difference with my skin, its the best in the business and has laws on it so noone can ever copy the ingredients etc!!!)

then the middle one is a beautiful body cream and on the right is one of the moisturisers in the Estee Lauder range....this is Daywear Plus, it protects my skin as well as moisturises.....love the skincare products.....so i got these for FREE...just the Advanced Night Repair bottle is worth $150 alone :)

these are some products i brought from the staff shop.....Mac eyeshadows on the left, Estee Lauder in the middle and a Mac skinfinish powder on the right....gorgeous products at a great price

i also got these AWESOME lipsticks from the shop and these 2 brushes.....i love the Mac lipstick colours!!!

Work gave me a bottle of the perfume Sensuous.....i LOVE this perfume!!

and on the last day i was given ALL THIS :)

Ahhhhh......i was in heaven!!!
